I have just released the first version of gprs, a tool to ease connections to the GPRS network on hackable:1, for the Openmoko Freerunner in particular. The project's homepage is here:

It's still alpha quality but already works in some conditions. I have uploaded a couple screenshots as well. I hope to package it soon, it will then be instantly available via the daily builds.
